TIPS & TRICKS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE! 💡

We asked, and you answered! Earlier this month, we put out a poll on our Instagram @nationalautospa.ca and wanted to hear from our followers what blog post they wanted to see next! With a whopping 50%, the majority ruled for Tips & Tricks on how to take care of your vehicle! Keep reading below to find out what they are. 😉

In today's generation, we are always looking for simple tips and tricks to get the job done. At National Auto Spa, we have quite a few of them up our sleeve and today is your lucky day because we get to share them with you! Keep in mind these tips & tricks may not work unless you're a detail professional like us, but they ALWAYS come in handy. 😎

TIP: LET A PROFESSIONAL DO IT

This may seem like a very simple tip but is arguably one of the most important. Cleaning your vehicle at home may seem sufficient, but without the proper space, chemicals and tools, you may cause more damage. A professional detailer such as us has all the right training and resources to keep your car looking clean for a while. Vehicles are not cheap so do not cheap out on the resources to upkeep it!

TRICK: ALL PURPOSE

All Purpose is a chemical we use to clean any tough bugs, dirt or salt stains inside and outside the vehicle. This special chemical ensures that absolutely no residue is left. This is a powerful product that is essential in our detailing process!

TIP: A CLEAN CAR IS A HAPPY CAR

If you own a pair of headphones, you may realize that in the beginning, they work fantastic, but over time the dirt, stains, dust etc. wear them out, and the quality begins to diminish. The same goes for cleaning your car! If you're not the type of person to maintain a clean car, unfortunately, all the dirt, stains, dust etc., will cause your vehicle to break down and potentially cause damage. Proper frequent upkeep ensures that the quality of your vehicle stays the same as when you purchased it. Your car will thank you later! ;)

TRICK: BUG MAT

A bug mat is used to scrub off any tough dead insects or dirt from the grill and bottom of the vehicle. This little mat is a lifesaver! It is able to scrub off any residue without damaging the car.

TIP: QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

It can be tempting to buy a car wash card from the gas station or use simple, cheap equipment. Over time car washes and worn-out equipment can damage the interior/exterior of the car. In the long run, spending the extra money ensures your car is cleaned properly and results last longer!

TRICK: VINEGAR & HAND SANITIZER

Sometimes even the toughest chemicals cannot get off stuck on stains. We've experimented with some hacks and found two easy ways to get the job done! Vinegar is acidic enough to use on any tough stuck on grease or dirt inside the vehicle. A little goes a long way, so be careful!

Have you ever parked near a tree and suddenly your car is full of tree sap? It's the worst! You could say you're in a sticky situation (no pun intended) with how difficult it is to scrape off. Well, all you need is a good ol' bottle of hand sanitizer! The chemicals in the sanitizer are strong enough to absorb the sap and rub off! It's important to note that if you notice sap on your vehicle, clean it RIGHT AWAY, or the sap needs to be buffed away.
