  • What is detailing?
Auto detailing is the process of cleaning and reconditioning the interior and exterior of your car. We clean the car using specialized industry leading tools and products, from top to bottom restoring to like-new conditions as if it just came out of the car showroom! Auto detailing also helps restore the exterior to a showroom shine and install a protective layer to protect from further damage.
  • How often should I detail my vehicle?
For a vehicle used daily, our recommendation is to have it detailed at least once every 3 months (so at the start of each season). This is the best practice to maintain the showroom condition of your vehicle, both inside and out. However, it is common to have your vehicle detailed once every 6 months as well. This is more common for seasonal vehicles used only for the spring and summer seasons, and are stored away during the fall and winter. Having said that, if you like to keep your vehicle super clean all the time, we recommend our quick maintenance details. These are best utilized once every 3-6 weeks and help keep your vehicle looking spotless inside and out all the time!
  • Can scratches be removed from my paint without my car being repainted?
It all depends on the depth of the scratch. Usually, if the scratch is within the clear coat, then we can remove it without paint repair. However, you are able to feel the depth of the scratch with your nail, then the scratch may need to be wet-sanded and touched up with paint. It is important to know a paint correction involves reducing or removing any (minor or major) scratches within the vehicle's paint. All paint corrections are evaluated with a quick and free consultation by one of our professionals. During this consultation we can identify the depth of the scratch(es) and the process it requires to correct.
  • How can I tell if my car needs to be waxed or polished?
The best way to tell if your car needs to be waxed is to throw water on it. If it does not bead up with "sheets" of water and only puddles then you're car is due for a wax. Typically, you should wax your car once every 3 months. The best way to tell if your car needs to be polished is if there are visible swirls, scratches, rust or other minor imperfections such as bird poop or bug etchings that remain on your paint's surface. If you cannot see these imperfections on your vehicle, then the best way is to feel the surface of the paint. If it feels rough, then you need a polish!
  • What is the difference between a hand wash and automatic wash?
An automatic wash does not focus on all the details of a thorough exterior car wash. Your car goes through a basic machine wash that does not always get rid of the debris on the car. It does not thoroughly clean your surface, windows, rims and tires. It also does not remove bug splatters from the front bumper. Furthermore, an automatic car wash does not properly dry the exterior of the vehicle to prevent water spots on the paint's surface. It is a quick and basic 5 minute wash. A hand wash does all of this a more! It usually takes about 45 minutes to complete. First, it involves a paint decontamination which removes bug splatters and bird poop. Then, a foam wash followed by a hand wash covering every inch of the vehicle. Next, we blow and hand dry the vehicle removing all water. This prevents water spots from sitting on your paint's surface. We perform a thorough clean on each of your wheels, handwashing the wheel wells, rims and tires as well as applying tire dressing on all tires. Lastly, the inside and outside of all windows are cleaned and all door jambs are wiped down.
  • How long does detailing appointments take?
Detailing appointments can vary based on the service and package selected. For example, our Interior & Exterior Package takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. However, a paint correction can take longer depending on the level of correction required.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash, debit, credit cards, Apple and Google pay. We also offer AfterPay which helps complete your payment in four easy installments.
  • What is the difference between Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film?
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent film that is applied on top of your paint, usually on the most vulnerable areas of your vehicle such as the hood, front bumper, fenders and mirrors. It is primarily recommended to protect your paint from stone chips, scuffs and deep scratches that could cut through the clear coat. Whereas, Ceramic Coating does not. PPF offers 10 years protection and is warranted by one of our certified installers. Ceramic Coating is a nano hydrophobic industry-graded solution that is applied over your paint's clear coat. It's enhanced hydrophobics gives your paint an everlasting shine and allows for your vehicles' surface to become water and chemical resistant making it super simple to keep clean. It is primarily recommended to protect your paint from harmful UV rays, chemical etching such as brake dust, swirls and light scratches from penetrating into the clear coat. Ceramic Coating offers 1 to 7 years protection depending on the type of coating that is applied, and is warranted by one of our certified installers. It is important to note, prep is required for both installations. It is critical we perform a paint correction prior to applying either PPF or Ceramic Coating to your vehicle. If a paint correction is not completed prior to installation all imperfections will be magnified when installation is complete (especially with Ceramic Coating). Contact us to learn more about our PPF and Ceramic Coating.
  • What is a Clay Bar Treatment?
A Clay Bar Treatment is a process using an engineered elastic compound to remove contaminants such as metal dust, brake dust, industrial pollution and road grit from your paint's surface. A regular exterior wash will not remove these harsh particles. A clay bar treatment is done between an exterior wash and polish. It is important to get a clay bar treatment done every 6-12 months. The reason for this is to prevent these harsh contaminants from building up on your surface which eventually penetrates into your clear coat, through your paint and all the way down to the metal frame. How can you tell if you need a clay bar treatment? One way is to feel your surface after an exterior wash. If it feels bumpy those are the contaminants built up on your surface. Another way is if you see tiny brown/copper pit marks on the surface, usually on the door panels, front or back bumpers. These pit marks are often caused by brake dust. A clay bar treatment is required to remove them. To avoid build up of harsh contaminants on your surface we recommend having a Ceramic Coating applied to your paint. The Ceramic Coating will protect the paint from any of these particles from sticking to your clear coat.
  • What is an Ozone Treatment?
An Ozone Treatment is an application used to eliminate foul odours, viruses and bacteria within your vehicle. Our process consists of using our ozone generator within your vehicle for a specific amount of time based on the the intensity of the odour. When turned on, the ozone generator releases gas ozone (O3). While the gas flows through your car, it neutralizes the odour and kills all viruses and bacteria in it's path. As a gas, it can penetrate inside vents, far under seats, saturate upholster fibers, and reach all the crannies and corners you cannot reach. It is also a common method for removing cigarette smoke. Ozone gas disintegrates after about half an hour of treatment, so there is no threat to your health. Ozone treatment is included in our Full Interior Package and can be added on to any of our other packages.
